Position Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team. As a DSP, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in their daily activities, helping them achieve their personal goals, and promoting their overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Support individuals in developing and maintaining independent living skills.
- Foster social connections by encouraging participation in community activities and events.
- Assist with transportation to appointments, errands, and recreational activities.
- Document progress and maintain accurate records of services provided.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other team members to create a supportive environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if required).
- Certification in CPR and First Aid (or willingness to obtain).
- Background check and drug screening may be required.
